Committed to Your Success

From the moment you meet Emily Rose & Vince Cortese, you’ll recognize their genuine concern for clients, relate to their down-to-earth style, and celebrate their innate passion and extensive grasp of the real estate market and its complexities, all of which translates into a single, relateable word to both buyers and sellers— SOLD!

While Emily immediately get down to business, they take the time to get to know clients and completely understand what they are looking for to determine the best strategy for accommodating all of their needs. This process helps them field through excessive listings to rule out those that are clearly not a good fit.

and only show you the ones that meet your criteria.”

—Emily Rose

Together, Vince and Emily form a powerhouse duo, consistently going the extra mile for clients, available 24/7 to take your calls, and working night and day to fulfill their commitment to you.

While still in their 50s, Emily's maternal grandmother lost her battle with breast cancer, and during an annual check-up in 2008 Emily discovered her own lump, though it was still undetermined whether it was malignant or benign. Shortly thereafter, Emily took up Bikram Yoga, rumored to "reduce risk factors of cancer." During her next doctor's visit, she was informed that the lump was shrinking, and on her visit a few short months later, the lump ceased to exist at all!

Meet Vince Cortese

Born in Italy, Vince Cortese moved to the U.S. as an infant, residing in New York for one year before settling in Portland, Oregon.

Growing up in his family's restaurants inspired Vince to become his own boss and follow in the footsteps of his familial predecessors, becoming a successful restaurateur.

Though Vince earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Oregon State University, his career path took a much different course when he discovered a passion for selling real estate, quite by accident.

Vince exercised his people skills in the five restaurants he owned and managed over the years. His special way of connecting with people did not go unnoticed. A customer and Principal Broker, named Paul Samuelson, observed how people seemed to gravitate towards Vince's magnetic personaity, kind spirit and humble charm. Paul recognized a quality in Vince that would lend itself perfectly with real estate.

In his early twenties, Vince studied investment real estate, learned remodeling, subsequently purchasing and renovating older homes for resale. By the age of 25, Vince could subdivide a three-lot piece of property. Since he had already been investing in real estate for fourteen years, when Paul suggested that he get his real estate license and come work for him, Vince rose to the challenge.

  • Vince, Julie, and their daughters Rachel & Arielle
Working in Real Estate affords Vince the freedom to spend quality time with his lovely wife, Julie, and their two beautiful daughters, Rachel—a freshman in high school, and Arielle—an OSU cheerleader. As for the restaurant business, Vince still sees many of his former customers, who are now his long time friends and real estate clients.
